Description
This particular saree is made of pure Khesh cotton and displays the unique textural aspect of the old recycling loom technique along with the detailed Bengal Kantha embroidery.
The saree's body is marked with a stunning combination of the sky blue base and fine horizontal stripes of peach woven pattern together with hand-stitched floral creepers in threads of coral, yellow, and white colors. Further on, the pallu changes into a complex geometrical pattern with rhythmic lines of chevron stitches in bright colors, as well as running lines highlighted with the woven pattern in peach.
