Description
Handwoven in Blended Bangalore Silk, this Kantha Stitch Saree combines the traditional Bengali art of needlework with that of detailed flower work to produce a unique piece. The smooth and medium weight silk fabric lends to a shining texture and easy drape. The bottle green base makes an elegant background for an elaborately hand-embroidered central square pallu with densely worked flowers, paisleys, and fans in colorful embroidery stitches. The elaborate work is complemented by simple running stitch Kantha border as well as floral creepers on both sides.
