Description
This is a Kantha-stitched saree, which is handwoven in Blended Bangalore Silk. It represents a perfect combination of Bengal Kantha craft and the art of geometric arches. Being made of medium silk, it possesses a bright surface and pleasant draping quality. The calm salmon peach base creates an excellent background for a complicated multi-layer pallu, which is designed with semicircular arched mandalas filled with stylized images of peacocks, flowers and leaves in bright multicolor threads.
