Description
Made of pure Khesh cotton, this saree demonstrates the textural nature of recycled loom and complex design of Bengal Kantha needle embroidery.
The body of this saree is characterized by a fresh pista green colour adorned with woven horizontal stripes and beautiful stitched creeper work in pink, yellow and white thread. This is followed by the transition to a decorative line of Kantha stitches in the form of rows of colorful stitiches, dotted lines and geometric diamond pattern with folk motifs. It has hand worked borders to give an earthy appeal to this handloom saree.
