Description
Being made from the pure silk fabric from Murshidabad, the saree comes with a very soft feel, natural silk sheen, light weight, and graceful draping abilities.
The design of the saree emphasizes the delicate beauty of the art form called soru tuli batik, with delicate lines of wax-resist designs filled in with vivid colors in jewel tones on the maroon color pallu and borders of the saree. The main body of the saree is covered with the khaki color crackle batik design and forms a striking contrast to the rich looking maroon color pallu having a beautiful frame of multi-color floral vines, feathers of the leaves, and decorative crests.
