Description
This saree is made using pure Khesh cotton to display the textural beauty of old-style recycling looms along with the beautiful Kantha stitch work from Bengal.
The saree's body has a maroon background with fine horizontal stripes of many colours and hand-sewn designs of floral vines and wheat butas made in threads of yellow and white colour. The pallu of the saree becomes more attractive when it starts displaying geometrical Kantha embroidery, including rhythmic cross stitching, wavy creepers, and dotted running lines decorated with a woven yellow stripe.
