Description
This saree is made from pure Khesh cotton, and it exhibits the beautiful texture that is characteristic of the loom made from recycled materials, combined with detailed Bengal Kantha stitch work.
The body has a deep bottle green color, highlighted with finely woven horizontal stripes and hand-stitched geometric diamond bands made from white and coral pink threads. The pallu changes into a detailed Kantha design, which has rows of arrowhead stitches, dotted stitches, and running lines with a texture of woven mustard-ochre band. The saree is finished with hand embroidery on the borders, and it provides a natural handloom look suitable for cultural and celebratory occasions.
